EBG | Network (corporate name EBG e-BusinessGuide AB) was founded in 2010 by Anna Bjärkerud as a response to the lack of focus on cross function collaboration within large organizations. Having a behavioral science degree, Anna knew that in order to achieve the cross organization strategies becoming increasingly present – people from different functions needed to come together.
EBG chose to focus on procurement as an end to end structure and have since 2010 brought together experts and professionals from across the Nordics and Europe through round table discussions, workshops and webinars.
In 2010 EBG hosted P2P Summit the first time in Stockholm, in 2014 transformed to Source 2 Pay Summit. The only summit in Europe bringing together sourcing, procurement and finance under one roof.
In 2017 Sourcing Outlook was created – a response to procurement needing more discussions and experience exchange in sustainability development, risk reduction and operating model improvements.
The basis of all summits EBG create are round table discussions that we call Theme Discussions. Moderators choose what they want to discuss with a peer group – those joining an EBG summit pick the sessions desired.
During 2020 and 2021 EBG – like the rest of the world – had to re-think summits and hosted four Online Round Table Discussion Summits. In total enabling 129 round table discussions.
In 2022 we finally brought together Strategic Sourcing and Source to pay developments – strategies and operations – under one roof that we call CPO Outlook. It was a success! It was evident how valuable it is to meet for informal experience exchange in person.
In 2023 the second CPO Outlook is held October 18th + 19th in Stockholm – welcome!
In 2024 the first CFO Outlook will be held in Stockholm. Bringing together a purchase to pay and order to cash perspective to help create operational excellence and net working capital optimization.
In short EBG enable great people to come together – believing in the power of experience exchange more than fancy talks, in walking the walk rather than talking about what’s to come. In sharing what could be done differently rather than focusing on an ideal in the future.
Welcome!
